Office Decorating
A great way to get started is to read the following article. A pleasant time doing so, you will enjoy for sure.
It's been at least a year now since you've moved to your new work place and officially taken over your new office. At first you were busy coping with a new home and a new job, but now you're settled in. You start noticing the same things that you noticed first of all when you took over your office. The walls are a drab color and looking decidedly depressing, the sun streaming in through the heavy duty blinds is barely enough to light a mouse hole, and the furniture is just about as drab and plain as it can get. You figure that an acceptable enough time has passed for you to start an office decorating project.
Naturally, if you start this it's always good to make certain that the powers that be won't have a problem with your plans. And remember that it is after all an office and should treat your decorating plans as such. Painting the walls a jazzy red color just might not work. You could however brighten things up a bit by repainting the walls a bright and airy color that won't be an eyesore to anyone, least of all you.
Then you always have the option of taking down those ancient blinds that have been hanging up there since the early 80's and replacing it with something more pleasing and functional. On the other hand if the whole of the office is done up in the same style with the same blinds hanging on every window, your change might not go down too well. So think twice before doing something that changes the whole look and dynamic of the entire office.
There are however, simpler ways in which you can carry out your office decorating project without too much hassle on your part and which doesn't necessarily need to be thought over too much. You can always brighten up any room by placing a pot or two of flowering plants here and there around your office. If you have a black thumb however like me, and tend to compel any plant in your vicinity to immediate suicide, then I wouldn't bother with plants. You could however bring in some bright pictures and hang them up on your walls. Or perhaps you have kids and they've been painting lovely pictures for you. These also work well, and will show your co-workers a different side of you.
Don't stress over anything though. You really don't need a simple redecorating job to add to your worries and besides this office decorating project should be fun and stress free. Remember, your office decorating project need not entail your turning the whole office, or you, around on its head, just that it should be something that you can live with on a daily basis. After all, you're at your office most of the day, it should be a place where you can be just at ease as you are in your own home.
Well thanks for your time and effort reviewing this article until next time happy reading.
